Assessment details
Everything here updates the student paper and answer key instantly. Your work saves automatically in this browser.
Multiple-choice answers per question
With multiple marks allowed, a student earns the question's points divided by the number of bubbles marked, as long as the correct answer is one of them. Applies to the scantron and the scanner. Lightly erased bubbles are ignored: the darkest bubble wins.
Honor code
The student signs and dates the pledge. Edit the wording to match your school's policy.

How Sky Assessment keeps your data secure
- Nothing is uploaded to our servers. Tests, photos of sheets, student names and grades are read and stored only in this browser (or in the .skyassessment file you choose to save). Scanned photos are kept in memory only and are not written to the project file.
- Phone link is end-to-end encrypted. Every message, including each camera frame and photo, is encrypted with AES-256-GCM before it leaves the device. A fresh key is created for every pairing using an ECDH P-256 key exchange mixed with the 6-digit code, so a person without the code cannot read or fake data. The connection itself also uses WebRTC's built-in DTLS encryption.
- The pairing service only introduces the two devices. It sees connection setup details (such as network addresses), never your images or results.
- Access is protected by sign-in with a one-time email link. Use Stop on the phone link when you finish, since the code is valid only for that session, and keep the sheets of your class on a private Wi-Fi network.
Scan answer sheets
Upload photos or scans of completed scantrons: JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC and HEIF. Sheets are read on this computer and each shows what was detected and a confidence score. If you printed 4 per page, cut the page apart and scan one sheet at a time.
Scan with your phone
Use your phone as a live scanner. It shows an overlay of the answers it detects, then the final result with what it read.
